Encouraging young artists is a responsibility and a joy.
Just as I was encouraged by artists and mentors as I developed as an artist, I am called to help educate and inspire future generations of artists. It is an important job and a wonderful blessing to be able to provide this service.

Traveling to schools and libraries to make interactive presentations based on my children’s books is a large part of how I am able to inspire young children.

There are many facets to a young artist. Whether in a group setting or through individual instruction, my aim is to foster artistic development as well as to provide professional direction to help youth find their path and flourish into a successful, working artist.
